Thebox ORDINE, DISORDINE, CAOS ph. Claudia Zalla
‘ORDINE, DISORDINE, CAOS’ a project by The Box with the support of Arper, curated by Davide Fabio Colaci + Simple Flair, offered three young designers the chance to interpret the contemporary world through the lens of these three themes, highlighting design’s unique ability to condense the complexity of daily life. “My interpretation of the word DISORDINE consists in a composition of tableware made out of glass. Objects without a defined function that can be re-invented in infinite variations. Free shapes whose union compose a mysterious and symbolic totem that amplifies the ritual and the emotional value of being at table” as declared by Astrid.
On the occasion of the Milan Design Week 2018, Astrid presents the exhibition ‘HOW&WOW Cooperazione’ (Isola district) with the Crafts Council Nederland and a new object for the exhibition ‘Souvenir di Milano’ at Brera Design Apartament (Brera Design District). astridluglio.com
