Moschino loves Kartell

May 02, 2018 admin

Toy by Moschino is the lamp launched by Kartell at the Salone del Mobile 2018: the teddy bear expresses the ironic spirit shared by the fashion house and the design brand

The lighting bear, designed by Jeremy Scott, creative director at Moschino, appeared at the Kartell booth at the Salone and in the showroom on via Turati, and was the protagonist of a Moschino shop window on via Senato, attracting attention and fondness anywhere, also thanks to the writing ‘This is not a Moschino Toy’ that stands out on its T-shirt.

This is not the first collaboration between the two very well-known brands since Moschino ‘dressed’ a version of the Mademoiselle chair design by Philippe Starck Kartell in the past. But, in this case, the iconic teddy bear that distinguishes bags, accessories and fashion garments by the brand becomes a real 3D character, a table lamp suitable for the most diverse environments.

In fact, a photo shoot, as fun as the bear, was dedicated to it: it peeks from the elegant shelves of the Moschino boutique …

ma gioca anche a nascondino, tra gli imballaggi del magazzino dell’azienda Kartell, sempre con quella sua aria scherzosa e amichevole!

but it also plays hide and seek, among the boxes of the Kartell warehouse, always keeping its playful and friendly look!

Innovation, both in style and technology, characterizes the Toy by Moschino lamp, which enriches the Kartell lighting line, as a new element of great aesthetic impact. With quality, playfulness and a pinch of irreverence, the traits shared by Kartell and Moschino that make them gain the approval of the international public. [LB]
