Sculpture-like Fusion Kitchen by Lago is the result of an interplay of contrasts between different volumes and materials
Fusion Kitchen, designed by Daniele Lago, is one of the new models that LAGO will present at Eurocucina during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile di Milano 2018.
In the composition seen in the picture: three compact blocks fit together seamlessly, creating an outstanding chromatic and material contrast. In the middle, Wildwood (an aged oak with a three-dimensional grain) meets massive marble blocks suspended on extra-clear tempered glass. The combination of wood with glass and marble allows this carbonate rock to appear lighter. The textured volumes, floor-standing or suspended, can combine with sinks and gas or induction stovetops. Moreover, all cabinet doors are equipped with invisible opening systems hiding the appliances.
XGlass, the new technology introduced by Lago, makes it possible to digitally print the back of the glass, giving it the same marble-like veins that characterize the kitchen’s side volumes, thus creating continuity between top and cabinet doors. Fusion Kitchen, an addition to the brand’s kitchen range, can be configured as an island or wall model, linear or L-shaped, and is available in four versions: Calacatta, Marble Grey, Nero Marquiña, Oxi Bronze.
