Gauchos, the Argentina’s pampas and the wild nature of South America

Of Argentine origin, Roberto Romero moved some years to Bogota, Colombia. Artist and designer, through his hand-manufactured sculptures in wire narrate the ancient Argentine traditions of gaucho, the famous stockman of the Argentine pampas, that dominates wild horses that run free with the horsehair in the wind. In addition to the indomitable Argentine equine, other elements of South American exotic nature inspire the creativity of the designer, such as flies, ants, and large fireflies. The decoration made with Austrian crystals, gives these decorative objects an original and unique style.

Established now in Brazil, this country is for Roberto a source of continuous inspiration: from its flora, to its fauna, to its traditions, to its peoples.
