IN KIEV, A RESTAURANT HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO RECALL A COMFORTABLE LOFT AND MAKE THE CUSTOMERS GO ON AN IMAGINARY TOUR AROUND THE WORLD.
In Kiev, on the eighth floor of a cylinder tower from which is possible to enjoy a stunning view of the city, there is the entrance of the restaurant Mur Mur, designed by studio Loft Buro.
Oleg Volosovsky, founder of the Ukraine architecture studio, said: “The main idea of the project was to recreate the atmosphere of a urban loft and to blend it with the even more complex concept of art without barriers. In the stylistic choices adopted for the restaurant, it is possible to recognize influences from Mexico, Central Asia, Indochina, Japan, but also typically European traits. Those who come to Mur must get the impression of being in Paris, Mexico, Latin America at the same time.” He added: “The most important thing is that the customers of the restaurant feel like guests at an exclusive party organized by a friend. They can relax enjoying the wonderful view of the city or enjoy the show cooking of the open-plan kitchen before tasting the specialties prepared by the chef.”
The restaurant, conceived as a familiar and traditional place where guests are treated as friends, not as customers, is a special and welcoming place where it is possible to meet art and enjoy a pleasant evening with friends, thanks to a piano, a DJ area, a charming vinyl collection and, above all, tasty food!
