Again this year ECLISSE supports the Prize that honors Veneto, its culture and its territory
In the suggestive setting of Gambrinus Park in San Polo di Piave, Treviso, on Saturday, November 18, was held the awards ceremony of the XXXV edition of the Literary Prize Giuseppe Mazzotti.
Promoted by the namesake association, the award was established to honor one of the main characters of Venetian and contemporary culture. Alpinist, writer, and essayist, Giuseppe Mazzotti devoted his life to the research and dissemination of knowledge.
Again this year, Eclisse – a Venetian company specializing in the production of sliding counterframes and wall-mounted door frames – has decided to support the Giuseppe Mazzotti Literary Prize. Eclisse, in fact, fully shares the values underpinning the prize, namely, the love for the territory, the valorization of the historical and cultural heritage, the preservation of the landscape and the environment.
The XXXV edition winners were: Antonio Bortoluzzi with Paesi alti for the section Montagna: cultura e civiltà; Isabella Panfido with Lagunario for Finestra sulle Venezie, per opere riguardanti aspetti della civiltà, della cultura territoriale e ambientale del mondo veneto, Alessandro Vanoli with L’ignoto davanti a noi. Sognare terre lontane for the section Esplorazione – viaggi.
Honoris Causa Prize to Kuki Gallmann, a writer and ecologist from Treviso, voted for the defense and protection of the Kenya ecosystem, and a special prize for the students who have competed in the X edition of the Juniores Literary Prize, in the Literary and Video section.
