Erik Kessels is Art Director and Founding Partner of KesselsKramer, a communications agency with headquarters in Amsterdam, London and Los Angeles, working for important international companies such as Diesel, Vitra e Aer Lingus. Kessels’s book – published by Phaidon – is a pocket-sized guide essential to re-interpret the art of making mistakes in a fun and uncommon way. The artist wants to celebrate mistakes and oddities, pointing out that they are an integral and essential part of the creative process.
Featuring more than 100 illustrations consisting of works by international artists, photographers, designers and some pictures from Kessels’s collection, the book shows the best and most hilarious examples of imperfection and rule breaking in a wide variety of creative forms.
