400 WORKS OF ART, ALMOST 5,000 PANELS AND 600 SQ.MT. OF VYNIL FILM. THIS IS THE TRAIN THAT WANTS TO DISCOVER THE WHOLE WORLD
Sncf – global leader in the transports and logistic industries – and the historic museum Musée Du Quai Branly- Jacques Chirac of Paris, teamed up and developed a train that crosses 29 cities, 4 regions, on a 56 km long path, offering to visitors a traveling exhibit on arts and civilizations from Africa, Asia, Oceania and Americas. In every railroad-car, the interiors designed by Adkeys, is floor-to-ceiling clad with about 400 works of art, photographs, paintings and historical objects from the Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac. The Arts and Civilization’s train is the result of an authentic puzzle applied to five carriages of the trail. Each of them required the application of 890 attentively assembled panels, as well as more than 600 sq.mt of vinyl film.
The passengers of the local train connecting the east with the center of the Île-de-France, are actually used to exciting journeys like this, among which the atmospheres of the Realm of Versailles or the d’Orsay Museum that they have lived inside this same train.
