THE EXHIBITION “TAPAS.SPANISH DESIGN FOR FOOD” TAKES PLACE AT THE “MUSEU OF THE DISSENY” OF BARCELONA, UNTIL 21ST MAY
At the “Museu of the Disseny” you will actually see the last stage of a travelling exhibition that in three years has stopped off in different cities, from Tokyo to Madrid, from Miami to Washington, from Seoul to Toronto. “Tapas. Spanish Design for Food” explores the interactions between design and food, focusing on the last 25 years. It includes more than 250 items – such as kitchen utensils, furniture, videos, advertisements and photographs – that create connections and cross references among different worlds, the world of material culture, social history, architecture, interior design and graphics.
Curated by the designer and architect Juli Capella, “Tapas” is divided into three main sections: The kitchen, the table, the food.
