BULGARI RESORT BALI

THE BULGARI RESORTS ARE A CHARMING BLEND OF BALINESE AND ITALIAN STYLE.

Bali. Indian Ocean. 20 kilometers off the international airport, equipped with one km long private beach, is located the Bulgari Resort, the second jewel of the hotel chain after the Milan-based facility.

To develop the project, the architectural firm Antonio Citterio, Patricia Viel and Partners mostly made use of local, natural materials: hand-cut volcanic stones; indoor furniture with the typical scent of the precious Eastern woods. Java’s mahogany (the so-called bangkiray) for doors and windows, art objects and Bali’s antiques and crafts all over the facility, as well as kitchenware made by local craftsmen.

The 1300 sq.mt. large surface hosts the 58 villas, all equipped with private pool and outdoor living room facing a luxuriant tropical garden. The facility has two restaurants – the Italian one (open for dinner) and the Sangkar Indonesian (open for both lunch and dinner). The first one offers a modern take of traditional Italian cuisine, while the second features a very friendly vibe. Nonetheless, guests can enjoy unparalleled breakfasts, including lobsters from the Jimbaran bay, scrambled eggs with truffle and champagne.

The SPA symbolizes the wellbeing philosophy, with wide water mirrors and large windows allowing the outside luxuriant vegetation enter the space. The internal halls host yoga rooms, pools, treatment areas and everything for the fitness. Finally, the leisure concierge is always at guests’ disposal.
