ARCHITETTURA CONTEMPORANEA IN SVIZZERA: I NUOVI MUSEI E CENTRI CULTURALI

The Grisons Museum of Fine Arts Chur and mcb-a (Cantonal Museum of Fine Arts), Plateforme10 in Lausanne by Barozzi/Veiga are the two projects that will be presented on Tuesday November 8 2016, by Architect Alberto Veiga, of studio Barozzi/Veiga, Barcelona. This is the third of the three conferences that focus on the most recent and most important Cultural and Museum projects in Switzerland and hosted in the House of Architecture (Casa dell’Architettura), Rome.

This initiative from the Embassy of Switzerland in Italy and the House of Architecture (Casa dell’Architettura) in Rome is curated by Architect Arianna Callocchia and promoted by Comitato Tecnico Scientifico della Casa dell’Architettura, the Chamber of Architects P.P.C. of the City and province of Rome, Roma Capitale with the specific objective of encouraging dialogue and exchange between the Swiss and Italian realities. The key figures of the meetings are the designers and the museum directors or curators that present and describe the works on display, not just from the urbanistic and architectonic points of view but with depth information on the cultural, artistic and functional contents.

At the end of this third conference, the exhibition  “Architecture in Switzerland. Dialogue between history and contemporary living” that was inaugurated on October 11 2016, will be closed to the public.
