Colourful Crossings by Camille Walala

London Bankside District’s ‘Colourful Crossings’ commission aims to explore how everyday urban infrastructures, such as pedestrian crosswalks, can transform the commuting experience into a happier one. In ‘Colourful Crossings v2.0,’ artist Camille Walala was commissioned to reimagine the experience of crossing London’s Southwark Street. Bringing her trademark graphic style of bold colours and shapes, the piece brings vibrancy and a splash of color to the monochrome public realm.
