This collection designed by Kairi Eguchi is based on the reuse end enhance of wood wastes. It is called Beautiful Remnants, and includes waste and solid wood – the different sides of the same coin – that have different prices but the same origin, and both allow eco-sustainable design. This series is made out of remnants of Japanese cedar in block shapes, and put together in mosaic. It includes table, bench, stool and table lamp. This is a good example of functional and sustainable design derived from waste materials, enhanced as the original wood.
