Illusione ottica per questi uffici open space @ Parigi

French muralist turned urban renewal architect Stephane Malka has just developed the space for open-source experts ADYAX’s Parisian headquarters.

The office embodies the architecture firm’s philosophy of transformation through the extension of existing structures, while exploring new ways to live and work in a 21st century office building. In line with employees’ widespread use of laptops and the modern digital shift in workday needs, the firm developed a range of atmospheres and modular workspaces that promote flexibility and mobility. These areas feature spatial characteristics that promote alternative working styles ranging from collaborative to isolated.

In Malka’s 1,000-square-meter office, PVC sliding walls produce partitions that provide thermal and acoustic insulation, while bold tints of blue-and-gold create a strong identity that also adds a playful touch to the spaces. Inspired by ADYAX’s roots in open-source technology and its limitless possibilities, painted cubes reminiscent of the Matrix are anchored to the hall’s columns, blurring the line between abstraction and spatial reality and providing a contemplative view for meditative employees.
