Eclettico ristorante afgano @ Adelaide
After their Afghan restaurant, Parwana, the owner recently in augureted a new one in Adelaide: the Kutchi Deli Parwana, where guests can enjoy a vibrant ospitality place and the Afghan-style street food. At the heart of Kutchi, meaning nomad or gypsy in Farsi, is a story of migration and new beginnings, so this restaurant reflects a traditional sense of Afghanistan while embracing a chapter of change that brings with it new opportunities.
The design of the Kutchi Deli Parwana comes froma a collaboration between Studio-Gram and Mash for the art direction; they created a space where traditions and contemporary design meets for a kitsch, modern and eclectic interior design.
The blue color is the protagonist among with all its shades, becuase it speaks of Afghani culture: usually Afghanistan’s traditional architecture is colored in blue, a peaceful, relaxing and brilliant ‘dress’ to decorate the 45 m2 space. There are many decoration as hand-painted Indian tiles, Persian artwork or collection of teapots, bottles and assorted quirky ornaments.
Kutchi Deli Parwana isn’t a place where you can pass and not turn your head to it!
